I believe that love that is true and real creates a respite from death, all cowardice comes from not loving or not loving well  —Woody Allen’s ‘Midnight in Paris’
not gonna lie, i didn’t really enjoy F Scott Fitzgerald - but his own personal life fascinates me. maybe its because i did Gatsby to the death of it.
coming back from a pretty shit rough night last night, i turned my room into a 1910s style opium den. please bear in mind i am sixteen and still took great pleasure in constructing a fortress of quilts and pillows, burnt incense, 345678 tea lights and drew my curtains shut so that a thick red light trickled through them. I put Brian Auger & the Trinity on my record player until i reached track 4 which is a bit too trippy for my likings.
